According to The Australian, the ABC plans to divide the show much more evenly between Sydney and Melbourne next year, with separate hosts for Sydney and Melbourne broadcasts. The report says Ellen Fanning, Hamish Macdonald and Annabel Crabb are front runners to host in Sydney, while Patricia Karvelas and David Speers would enter calculations when the show comes to Melbourne.
