Me too and those videos are still flooding on YouTube. Comes to think how worst are the trains in Melbourne (And Myki) until now.
What about them?
Transdev maintains a large transport portfolio across much of the country.
yes
I do. Veolia still has a presence in Melbourne as Transdev Melbourne which runs the bus network in the city’s eastern suburbs especially Doncaster and Templestowe as well as the Smartbus cross-city routes.
Veolia also owns and operates the double decker tram network in Hong Kong.
Transdev also run in Melbournes west, the ex government operated routes in Sunshine, Footscray etc
Transdev Melbourne have been plagued by reliability and maintenance problems since they took over those routes in 2013.
Rode on this Carbridge Toro electric bus for a single trip across Perth Airport earlier this morning and i have to say that it is a good bus. It’s a former Canberra unit for those who are interested.
The stations facing cuts as part of the multi-billion-dollar blueprint to overhaul Sydney’s rail network are Berala, Regents Park, Carramar, Villawood, Leightonfield, Chester Hill, Sefton, Birrong and Yagoona.
The new Metro line is expected to open in 2024.
Sydney’s newest light rail route, L2 Randwick to Circular Quay, opened this morning.
I watched Gladys & Co give their presser before the VIP tram left this morning.
Then I got the first public tram to leave Circular Quay, 45 minutes earlier than scheduled! (wait for processing…)
Day 1 and already an accident. A tram broke down at The Rocks at 1pm, blocking the intersection for two hours and causing some services to terminate at Central Station.
The Ass-thetic Power System back at it again.
I reckon they really should have gone with the standard pantograph system through the entirety of the CBD. It was only at Clover’s insistence that resulted in the APS system being implemented. Either that, or a battery system.
Blocking the intersection for two hours is unacceptable. The tow vehicle should have been on the scene within 10 or 15 minutes.
Does the tram go to Parrahub?
A separate light rail system is being planned for Parramatta.
Only development forum girls who’ve seen light rail services glitter in the darkness off the M4 will get my reference.
Geez, you people ought to stick to one username! I dunno who’s who
In Chinese language, “trackless trams” usually refer to trolleybus.
I don’t comment, only lurk
Since 2019, Veolia no longer owns Transdev.
This proposal is worth considering but I still think Melbourne Metro 2 should link with the Doncaster rail line, and the Airport rail line between Sunshine and Melbourne CBD should still be built as a tunnel.
