Public Transport

If you change from 1 train to another, you only need to touch off after the 2nd trip.IF you change buses or a bus then a train you have to touch on and off for each leg of your journey.Yes a pain in the a**e.

Here we go again…

V/Line train service on the Gippsland line between Traralgon and Bairnsdale has been suspended since this morning’s crash.

That’s mostly because the trains they are replacing first (V sets) don’t normally get used there on the weekend.

Driving home for work each night after midnight i always seem to see a bus heading to Brisbane. Not exactly sure where it originates from. Can only assume it’s Sydney.

It would have to wonder if it would be cheaper than flying cause it would be bruital.

Seriously? People still wanting to ride for free

They are progressively being rolled out over the next two years, once the modifications are completed on each set then undergo a testing process before commissioning.

Another two years? Oh fuck me sideways.

NSW - The Incompetent State. No wonder the NFL went with Victoria.

The airport line in Victoria is asking for its title back.
NFL for Queensland :stuck_out_tongue:

Sydney to brisbane is around $80 on the bus, and goes from city centre to city centre. if your budget conscious i can see the attraction

The federal government yesterday confirmed it had unlocked $2.2 billion in promised funding for the project’s first phase, linking Box Hill to Cheltenham.

I am now driving into the city to Moore Park for the Waratahs match instead of taking advantage of the free transport because trains from my way are already wacko at the best of times Thanks RTBU,

I think you will eventually get your beloved 24 hour transport - it’ll be called a driverless Metro not staffed by RTBU members.

When is the NSW govt going to give us a “free week” - enough is enough!

We won’t get a “free week”, Maybe a fare free day. but I doubt that just as much.

Fare free day won’t make much sense for those who actually use PT and reach the weekly cap… by Thursday most of us have reached it, making any free travel worthless.

A ferry each way is approx $7.40
A train trip each way is about $5.22
and a transfer too ($1) and you’re set for the weekly cap in no time!

Doesn’t matter - you won’t get a fare free week. Maybe a day and probably on the weekend.

Would render it pointless for the majority of workers! Good if unemployed etc.
