Chas mentioned tonight the show being “only 30 minutes”. Missing the Friday night version each week.
I’ve been banging on about the ABC’s piss poor scheduling and filling their prime time with repeats. They should make Planet America run until 10:30. There’s plenty of content and they wouldn’t have to run a repeat before the late news. This would also boost ratings for the late news as Planet America consistently rates.
Q & A used to run until 10.30pm on Monday nights for a long time, and ratings were good (for the first few years).
Planet America’s ratings prove that there is still an audience out there for post 9.30pm programming. This show could easily go to 10.30, since there is no second episode.
So it can be done.
