Paramount+

Yeah but Viacom cbs should be able to utalise p+ so they should do it

If they have granted access to Foxtel/Fetch as stated above then there may be contractual terms that restrict offering it via P+ regardless of whether they own it

Few promos floating around for this, also seen during Celebrity last night.

I have my 3 months at half price til end of February…. Anyone know if they are dropping all the eps at once? Wikipedia is showing weekly in the US

It is still really hard to search on P+ they need to add more categories and it would be great to have the star trek channel category like in the us at the top with all the other like nickelodeon etc.

So the new season will be on 10Shake I wonder or will they make it exclusive in Australia to streaming?

I’d kind of want it for streaming so then at least we will get it in HD.

I’d assume it might be exclusive to P+ in Australia.

Not sure how the crossover will be streamed in Australia, as Amazon Prime currently has the rights to Downton Abbey.

reading the article it is about characters appearing from Downton in TGA, not the usual use of the term crossover like they do in Chicago/NCIS’s

i agree, its not a cross over in the usual sense, as you said it’s about characters from downtown appearing in TGA

FYI, it is on Amazon Prime in Australia

The original series features an all-star cast, including Luis Gerardo Méndez (Narcos: Mexico, Charlie’s Angels), Miguel Ángel Silvestre (Narcos, Sense8), Irene Azuela (Sense8), and Miguel Rodarte (Narcos: Mexico). New Period Drama Series The Gilded Age Brings The Posh To Paramount+.

Writer/creator Julian Fellowes, executive producer Gareth Neame and director Michael Engler – the creative team behind both the award-winning Downton Abbey series and feature film – reunite to bring you the latest epic period television series The Gilded Age, streaming exclusively in Australia on Paramount+ from January 26.

The American Gilded Age was a period of immense economic change, great conflict between the old ways and brand-new systems, and huge fortunes made and lost. Against the backdrop of this transformation, the story begins in 1882 with young Marian Brook (Louisa Jacobson) moving from rural Pennsylvania to New York City after the death of her father to live with her thoroughly old money aunts Agnes van Rhijn (The Good Fight’s Christine Baranski) and Ada Brook (Sex and the City’s Cynthia Nixon).

Accompanied by Peggy Scott (Denée Benton), an aspiring writer seeking a fresh start, Marian inadvertently becomes enmeshed in a social war between one of her aunts, a descendant of the old money set, and her stupendously rich neighbours, a ruthless railroad tycoon and his ambitious wife, George (Morgan Spector) and Bertha Russell (The Leftovers’ Carrie Coon). Exposed to a world on the brink of the modern age, will Marian follow the established rules of society or forge her own path?

The Gilded Age’s stellar cast also includes Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story), Aussie actors Harry Richardson (Total Control) and Thomas Cocquerel (Red Dog), and guest stars Jeanne Tripplehorn (Waterworld and The Firm) and Nathan Lane (The Birdcage).

The 9-part series is a co-production between HBO and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

Julian Fellowes acts as Creator/Writer/Executive Producer; Gareth Neame as Executive Producer; Michael Engler as Director/Executive Producer; David Crockett as Executive Producer; Salli Richardson-Whitfield as Director/Executive Producer; Sonja Warfield as Writer/Co-Executive Producer; and Dr. Erica Dunbar as Historical Consultant/Co-Executive Producer.

US reviews on The Gilded Age have come out and there are contrasting verdicts. Here are some of them:
