Paramount Plus representative has informed us that new users will be eligible for a 7-day free trial of Paramount Plus starting tomorrow. After your first week, you’ll be charged $8.99 per month for your Paramount Plus subscription.
It clearly says AFTER, which makes sense with FREE trials.
If you had already subscribed to 10 All Access in the past, you are not counted as a new subscriber to Paramount+.
I got a refund for $2.03 from Apple/10 All Access. Random. It was meant to just roll over to the cheaper price. 
It might still do that. When did the 10 all access last bill you? If they billed you after 19 July you would’ve paid for a month but after that date it obviously wasn’t going to be around another month.
I’m to lazy to find my billing history lol… But yeah, I figured it was something like that. I just assumed they would have taken that into account at the next payment. I’m not worried either way, I’m sure it will all work out.

It might seem trivial and I get that Syd & Melb are in lockdown which is roughly half the population, but it really annoys me how Sydney centric a lot of the networks and streamers are still and largely ignore the rest of the country.
Interesting that the end of this article alludes to Hamish to taking up opportunities with P+. Seems like it might get some sort of local current affairs or specials down the track…
It was mentioned in the press release when it was announced he was joining 10 again.

What is so Sydney centric about it?
Mentions lockdowns, 10 ViacomCBS’s social teams are all based in Pyrmont and has happened across other posts of theirs as well.
This was merely one example, but it’s not that much of a stretch to say our media is largely Sydney, sometimes Melbourne centric.
I agree it can be melbourne and Sydney centric. But you have to remember that 40% of the population lives in those two cities.
As for the ad of course they are targeting people at home looking for something to do. It’s not the most sensible decision marketing it to people who are out of lockdown with glorious weather today.
They could be promoting that tweet and targeting it only towards users living in locked down areas.

As Herb said, it would’ve been smarter to have targeted the post to those who are actually in lockdown.
