I know what the article is about mate. I’m not having a go at Paramount.
I’ve since realised that he’s just copy and pasted his announcement from last year when it was announced Paramount Plus will be airing the show.
I’m fully aware this is about the show airing on 10.
Leaving that paragraph in confused me and I thought David was saying that Paramount will stop fast tracking and wait for 10 to catch up and then air on 10 first and Paramount the next day just like they do with Matlock.
So I’m saying David needs to remove that paragraph so it doesn’t confuse others.
You already did with the first post after the TV Tonight post. Anyway I didn’t mean you alone, others posted too and if they watched Elspeth they would know it returns on 31st January.
Then you’d know it’s Elsbeth But all joking aside, not everyone is as savvy to know when it’s returning or why it took a break in the first place. What’s obvious to you or I, isn’t always to others.
I don’t think so, I got pulled up recently commenting on Sky News, which I never watch and accepted that it was fair enough, I shouldn’t make comments just because I dislike something.
Fair enough but as I said in my comment to David, indignant replies on things we don’t watch can show our bias against a program, network or streamer. I try not to comment on things I don’t watch or listen to but I slip up occasionally. I watch a lot of Paramount+ so that’s probably why I know what’s happening.
Where are you getting this misguided idea that people who commented on this don’t watch the show?
David’s article was confusing. That’s literally all it is. It made it seem like the show was changing its programming strategy and air dates. We’ve now realised it was a copy and paste job and there will be no changes to Elsbeth on Paramount Plus.
David, I don’t want to keep going with this, it’s boring to others! The guard dogging bit was funny. All I’m saying is the return date for Elspeth has been on there for anyone who watches. My “guard dogging” of Paramount, as you put it, is because I watch more on there than any other streamer. Same as I watch more 10 than the other two commercials. So guard dog on duty. Woof!
Very amusing… so I used a p instead of b. Sorry for that! There’s a bit of bullying goes on here by a certain few people. So I spelled the name wrong but I state again none of these posts would have happened if people weren’t so quick to act or more so re-act to a dodgy TV Tonight post.
All this garbage started because I reacted to @David’s post by letting him know that what he had posted had already been answered by myself and others previously. But he had to keep on and have a “go” about my “love” for 10 etc. I am fairly honest and open about all things I post here, No1. I am probably a lot older than most posters. (Not an excuse for spelling Elsbeth with a P). 2. Of the commercial channels I prefer 10’s programming but that’s not to say I don’t see their faults. 3. I believe we can all post things we believe in without trying to make fun of others.
I have no idea how I spelt Elsbeth wrong on multiple occasions. I could go and do an edit but would sort of spoil the thread! So go ahead those who made silly comments about my mistake, have your fun and enjoy the rest of Sunday.
This was posted at least a day before all this garbage was started!
I thought we’d seen the end of this conversation, but obviously not.
My comment about the spelling was supposed to be in good humour, as referenced by the emoji used - no bullying intended.
Whilst watching grown-ups argue it out over essentially nothing on the internet is mildly amusing, it’s getting a bit tiring now and unnecessarily clogging up the thread.
Fairly sure I speak for all (and probably the moderators) that it’s probably time to move the conversation along.
Agreed 100%. It would not have started if someone didn’t make it an issue of it. Apologies to all who have been bored by this. If there is anymore correspondence I will do it in a private message.
