Paramount+ Unveils Trailer For Season Two Of Animated Series Big Nate.

Based on the Best-Selling Children’s Books, Big Nate Season Two Streaming Exclusively On Paramount+ From Saturday, 15 July.

Paramount+ today released the official trailer and key art for season two of the original animated series Big Nate, based on the best-selling children’s books and comic strip written and drawn by acclaimed author and cartoonist Lincoln Peirce. The 10-episode second season will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount+ from Saturday, 15 July.

In new episodes of Big Nate, Nate Wright and his misfit group of friends tackle new adventures, face epic challenges and unleash their boundless imaginations at P.S. 38. This new season pushes the boundaries of visual creativity, featuring episodes with animation styles including stop-motion, shadow box theater, photogrammetry and claymation. With laughter, friendship and heaps of Nate’s signature mischief, season two promises to be bigger, bolder, and funnier than ever.

Joining the series this season are guest stars Laraine Newman (Ridley Jones) as Marge, Nate’s grandma whose misguided optimism has clearly been inherited by her grandson; Matthew Lillard (Scoby-Doo) as Agent Fish, one of Nate’s comic character creations – an anxious FBI agent with a literal fish head; JB Blanc (Barry) as Agent Moose, one of Nate’s comic character creations – a confident FBI agent with a literal moose head; Maya Aoki Tuttle (Spidey and His Amazing Friends) as Cammie, the kind of popular kid who actually has confidence; and Stephanie Sheh (Royal Crackers) as Ruby, the new kid at P.S. 38 and Nate’s dream girl, but he doesn’t know that yet.

The series stars Ben Giroux (Nate Wright), Dove Cameron (Ellen Wright), Rob Delaney (Martin Wright), Bryce Charles (Dee Dee Holloway), Daniel MK Cohen (Francis Pope), Arnie Pantoja (Teddy Ortiz), Charlie Schlatter (Chad Applewhite), Ali Stroker (Amy), Kevin Michael Richardson (Principal Nichols), Carolyn Hennesy (Mrs. Godfrey), Nik Dodani (Randy), Betsy Sodaro (Kim), Lisa Kay Jennings (Gina), Chandni Parekh (Jenny), Todd Haberkorn (Artur), Ryan Garcia (Mr. Rosa), Mike Rivkin (Mr. Galvin), and Chester Rushing (Zeff).

Big Nate is executive produced by Mitch Watson (All Hail King Julien) and John Cohen (The Angry Birds Movie) and produced by Amy McKenna (Beware the Batman) and Patrick Inness (The Adventures of Kid Danger) with Lincoln Peirce serving as consulting producer throughout development and production. Bridget McMeel is co-producer and Jim Mortensen is supervising producer.

Sure… except they were releasing one episode a week until this week when they released 4. Giving fans 8 days to watch 4 episodes.

The key is that in a way reality is slowly setting in.

Valid that keeping the titles costs money, but the behaviour to completely remove them is still odd.

The other streaming platforms have all cancelled plenty of of titles over the years, but keep them in their libraries just for the sake of having a large library.

To me, this is a red flag that Paramount is having second thoughts about its streaming future.

Where do they come up with this shit?

Just because he’s had a hit with Yellowstone, it seems like they give him free reign now on everything he want to make.

These other shows didn’t exactly set the world on fire. I can’t see Lioness doing any better.
