Would love to see Wendy on Breakfast it wouldn’t be a bad gig and she would also have Midday. Question is though their budget! Would be a shame to lose her off screen entirely.

On second thought would it not just be Chris Chang? He seems to do midday a fair bit and loses his sport gig from Hayley moving… although in today’s world you couldn’t possibly have 3 males 1 female.

1 News still providing rolling coverage. After the presser finished shortly before 12, reporter crosses started to multiple locations in Auckland, and in Rotorua + Wellington.
Would have been the Midday news, Would it also be Simon’s first time hosting midday?
No reference to it being the midday bulletin as such. Simon’s presented Midday in the past, I believe in the period that Daniel Faitaua stepped away from Breakfast.

Why can they never get the camera angles right on Seven Sharp. They’re always off centre, it’s distracting and annoying to me at least, a viewer who cares about camera angles haha.

Wendy Petrie still finishing up tomorrow night at 6pm. Will be sad to see her go.
Depending on whether Auckland goes up to level 4, I have heard she may be back on 6pm pretty quickly (split teams again)
