Given theres no direct competitor now I wouldn’t be surprised if in time, the show reduces to two hours.
I also dont get why JMay is there, shes a real turn off for this show, we use to watch it most mornings before heading out the door, but now we listen to Mike Hosking instead

It amazes me how many people work on Seven Sharp, esp. when you consider all the shows that were cancelled last year.

Agreed, especially when it has the same amount of hosts as breakfast now does. I imagine Hilary and Jeremey’s salary outdoes that of Jenny-May and Chris by quite a bit too.

Does anyone know where I can view a clip of Judy Bailey reading a news story about her $800,000 salary? Seems extraordinary to think that happened almost 20 years ago.

First morning of Breakfast under the 2 host format.
There’s a changed (I think) couch area, as well as a podium separate to read the news from.
Jenny-May has been reading the :00 news and Chris the :30

It seems to flow better just the 2 hosts. Not that I’m a great fan of JMay or Chris
The tv should have the 1 News logo flick by the Breakfast logo every few seconds in 2025.
Breakfast should have 1 logo on the screen during the show all the time.

I don’t like seeing the Breakfast only logo on the leftside. I would like to see 1 logo during Breakfast all the time.
I mean, surely you know what channel you’re watching.

The 1 logo should be put on top of the screen during the Breakfast show in 2025. It could be TVNZ 1 with TVNZ Plus logos just like during the live events.
Big empty set with just two presenters, glad they’ve done away with that big standing desk which looked silly from the outset.
