From memory, Seven did put in a bit of effort for associated coverage for Nagano 1998, Salt Lake City 2002 and Torino 2006.
The former was a complete studio set-up at the old ATN Epping, similar style to Atlanta summer games in 1996 (although that was on-location in America at the IBC). The latter two were on-location, however elements from Australia, ‘02 Epping AFAIK (think Seven Sport were transitioning from South Melbourne to Docklands final construction at the time) and ‘06 from Docklands.
Johanna Griggs was in Georgia and Italy for those.
Seven also won IOC awards for 2004, 2006 and 2008, in conjunction with partner Gravity (who they used for their Australian Opens as well from 2005 when they were host broadcaster and used to produce the world feed).
