Do we have an update on the situation in Sydney? Has the issue been resolved?
Nine did just say in the NRL Manly v Penrith preview that The Sunday NRL Footy Show and 100% Footy will be back this weekend, so they must be making some progress.

Probably the same as they do for NRL?
No, Super Rugby is always done from the studio, so he’s asking if they will be at the ground, or be in the Stan studio and be controlled from Melbourne.

If that’s the case I would say Melbourne will control it.
Not even close to being operational! From what I’m told it will be months before Nine News and Today production will be moved from Melbourne back to Sydney

They would have had to have bring in external assistance / equipment to keep things running or ask the other networks for help.

Basically most national programs wouldn’t have aired this week if that was the case. Nine along with other networks need to make sure (in future) that they have an emergency station to act as a backup for network.

Yes but like NRL maybe it’ll be from the ground like they have had to do since the issue or just control Melbourne. There are options!

9 News Adelaide using the 5pm background on the 6pm news at the start, about 15 minutes into the bulletin the regular skycam background returned.

This is huge if true, I do not envy them at all and it must have made a mess of so many different systems.
I would imagine all networks everywhere are trying to find out the details and locking down to ensure it can’t happen to them. It could possibly have happened to any of them and Nine were the unlucky ones.
