It was an immediate switch off for me. Nothing worse than waking up to politics and been given the usual 4BC slant on things.

Yeah bummer for me here in Sydney. 3AW overnights about as interesting as listening to paint dry. Whatâs with the radio play/serial? These were popular about 60+ years ago LOL. Itâs a really bad look / listen for 2GB as Sydneyâs No. 1 to be on such a threadbare roster over the break âŚ
Talking about things that were popular 60 years ago and that is a talk station using stingers in between each call or segment.
Surely no one does that anymore?
There is something worse than mindless talkback overnight and that is someone rambling on and on and on night after night talking politics in the wee small hours. Imagine suffering that every night, it would drive you to insanity.
The pillow is a better friend overnight.
I havenât listened to 3AW for years, and while I am not a huge fan of Aunty Donna, it looks to me like 3AW has not changed since I last listened:

Jason Morrison was on 2GB last night doing the 8pm hour replacing Joe Hilderbrand.
Has he been heard on 2GB since he left years ago? Interesting choice.

Lasted three years in Brisbane across breakfast and drive. His breakfast share not surpassed by the KQ cancer there now.

Iâm aware of his history with 4BC yes. Listened to him briefly today filling on 2GB drive.
He has an odd cadence and quite quirky manner. Bizarre.

Luke Grant just announced on air as taking over 2GB weekend mornings from mid-Jan next year. Wonder who will take overnights Mon-Fri? Gawd i hope we dont keep suffering 3AW overnights full time ⌠Luke just said he doesnât know.
