How are they going to cover Peter Overton this summer? Deb is still doing Today and they need Georgie to have a break before kicking off as Today Co host in mid January.
Erin Molan posted a photo with a caption that suggests Georgie has done her final weekend bulletin. She perhaps will switch to weekdays for a while.

Georgie is suppose to work on Sydney News until the end of December ( she will probably finish just before Christmas) then go on holidays and start on Today 22 January.

GG usually finishes on Christmas Eve, after then we will probably see a rotation of presenters. Amelia, Davina, Jayne. Etc.

I personally think we’ll see Georgie Gardner fill in for Pete until just before Christmas, the festive season presenters for the following week or so, then Deborah Knight until Peter Overton returns.
