Mark Burrows and Jayne Azzopardi (who is on maternity leave) are the main fill ins for Sydney, maybe Mark is on holidays?

I would think it is her first bulletin since 2018, found this post on her Instagram from 14 July 2018 which was when she was host on Weekend Today.

Great appointment for Brett with his experience.
This could definitely open the door for Jo Hall to present some afternoon bulletins in Melbourne and fill in on weekends replacing Brett,or it could mean we will be seeing a lot more of Dougal Beatty who is currently doing 3 afternoon bulletins a fortnight.

Wow. Fantastic appointment. Shame that Melbourne will loose him though. Brett is a great presenter. I can certainly see Jo Hall and Dougal Beatty both filling his shoes now.

Again, it’s a pity that Sophie Walsh has rarely (if ever) done fill-in news/weather presenting on Nine Sydney since returning home from London.
While I don’t think Allison Langdon or Natalia Cooper are completely inappropriate for the studio (in contrast to a certain senior reporter at TCN who regularly fills in for Pete & GG…), they’re not really my favourite presenters TBH.
