Do weekend teams usually get campaigns? Can’t recall Mike Amor in Melbourne for example, apart from when Rebecca Maddern returned back to Seven from Nine. Something more of pre-2010s era, like in the 2000s when Jennifer Keyte and Jo Hall featured prominently on daily promo end-tags.
Good to see though, probably because of Hitchener’s esteemed status.
I wonder if 2025 will be our last year with Hitch.
Seems like he just wants to keep on going. At his age and tenure I don’t think Management would be overly worried if he left early on contract, when the body at such an age tells you no more that’s generally it. You get a different level of respect at such an age.
I will probably be working until 80 at this rate so Hitch I hope I can maintain your energy however you do it! Huge respect.
