Rather odd given it’s only a week since the new duo started.

Tom gone after losing last night? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Well not really. Maybe Tom has a prior engagement to attend

Well we do know as Alicia mentioned he’s not feeling well at the end of the bulletin and hopes to be back ‘soon’.

Ps. I like the acknowledgement. And it certainly helps answer the questions of this forum

Especially when it’s their 8th official bulletin. Hope he’s ok.

I know times have changed, but generally when you first start a new job you don’t dare take a day off within the first few months!

Well as mentioned on air he is unwell. Couldn’t really have predicted that. If it’s contagious, wouldn’t you rather him not be in the office with the possibility of spreading it to colleagues if he attends work? It’s common sense really.

As a people leader this is very much not the case these days. New employees know their rights and use it as they see fit.

Not to mention, Tom is unwell.

Who did Tom Morris replace on 9 Melbourne? He’s quite an interesting cat isn’t he.

I think the Chief Footy Reporter role was created for him. I can’t think of any sports reporters who had left recently?

Ayrton Woolley is now freelancing for the network.

Copying the Seven network approach for AFL related stories, which to me seems odd given 9 don’t have the rights for the AFL, so why have a Chief Football reporter on a network that doesn’t broadcast the main event?

I’m curious to see what his involvement will be with Footy Classified and the Sunday Footy Show, I imagine he’ll be present for both and will perform a Damian Barrett/Sam McClure type role.
