In his usual weekly segment on the 6pm news previewing Footy Classified last night, Eddie joked with TJ that he was ‘rolling back the clock’ (as a journalist) when Eddie broke some news about GWS Giants and Alastair Clarkson.

Good banter between Eddie and TJ, especially when Eddie joked he’s interested in a sports reporter role at Nine if they push his son out of the way (Eddie’s son Xander is a sports reporter at Nine).

I know people like to give TJ a hard time but it’s reasons like this the audience love him. This was from last night too. You wouldn’t see other sports presenters making funny comments like this on the 6pm bulletin. At least Tony knows how to have fun…
