Is it just me, or is Pete and James banter/when they look at each other is slightly awkward? Could be due to the sudden departure of Cameron Williamsā¦
Also James working from 10am this morning
Iād like to think that both men are professional enough to not let pettiness impact the bulletin.
Realistically, they havenāt spent many bulletins together and it takes time to find your groove when youāre working with someone new.

I like James but it is very evident they havenāt been working together long and lack an easy rapport. We donāt know if this arrangement is permanent yet. I wish theyād consider bringing Matt White to the network considering how well he worked with the likes of Ian Ross and Sandra Sully in sport presenting roles in the past. I do miss Kenny Sutcliffe and the personality he brought to the bulletin.

Apparently if the reports are true with regards to the racing rights theyāve signed him on to Stan Sport, so I guess he could be a possibility and it wouldnāt be that hard for Nine to lure him across to the news department. But then he could also be a Nick McArdle and just do Stan Sport and occasional sport coverage on WWOS.

Tony Jones will do his regular sport role after finishing up at 3AW in the drive slot each day this week. He will have 15mins to leave the AW studio to make it in time for his 6:15 sport insert.

3AW is still in Media House on the corner of Collins & Spencer Streets whilst Nine Melbourne is located at 717 Bourke Street.
