Strange, both Amelia Adams and Tim Arvier just reported on Sky News tonight but without the sign off nor intro but the 9News mic is quite prominent

Sky News Australia?
9News isn’t a competitor (technically), so I don’t think that they would mind too much.
Yes sky news Australia and just now, it’s a report from Chris Kohler on CBA, what’s going on in here?
I noticed that there’s no 9News Late tonight, coincidence?? 
Probably only because the NRL was on the main channel in NSW, VIC and QLD tonight.
They probably weren’t going to produce one just for SA and WA?

Don’t see why they couldn’t do it “LIVE” for Adelaide and delay it into the east, like 7 do with The Latest in AFL states sometimes.
And a fifth one from Ebony Cavallaro followed immediately by another one from a Sydney reporter. It’s like watching 9News just on a different channel.

Could Nine News have some new arrangement to supply content to Sky News??

Sky News has long always drawn content from 7 and 9 and pretty sure they both owned part of Sky at one stage.

Hasn’t this always been the case on Sky News? They always run 7 & 9 stories and cut it right at the sign off. Have done for years?!
Or are you talking about something else?
But why so many 9 stories? What about 7?
That was the case before when Nine and Seven owned a third each of Sky News but both have since sold their respective shares to NewsCorp (?)
I find it strange because I counted a total of seven reports, all from Nine in that 1 hour news.

Ahh I see. Yeh the high number is unusual. Even for what it used to be I guess.
Yeah about 15 years ago all it used to really be was reruns of Nine/Seven reports

With cutbacks at Foxtel maybe they have to use more of 9 content again.
Not a bad compromise, it allows SKY to focus on its nuanced discussion shows, Nine can provide the straight news, they have the best resources out of the commercial networks.
