Did anyone spot the error by Peter Overton last night?
Amelia Ballinger filed a report from Norway about living with wolves late in the bulletin, showing her being up close with them, trying to show that they can be friendly towards humans. Peter then quipped at the end of the report âIâve just heard that Amelia has just recovered from this nowâ (or something like that).
BUT Peter had seemingly forgotten that 30 minutes earlier, Amelia had done a Live cross from London on the Queenâs birthday celebrations.
Or it was just a joke.

Yes, but we could see that Amelia had ârecoveredâ given she did a Live cross to Peter 30 minutes earlier. The comment from Pete would have been fine had she not already been on screen earlier.

The mention of set and graphicsâŚshould we expect some changes in other markets or just the Gold Coast? Either way, itâs excellent to know that Nine are not planning to become complacent in the face of new competition!

[/quote] She well-in-truly deserves to be presenting and is more than capable of it. I actually thought of her doing weekends earlier in the year. But be aware that Darren Curtis lives on the Gold Coast ( spew) and fills in for Bruce often.
