Haven’t seen it mentioned here yet - but Nine’s Queensland State Poliical Reporter, Shane Doherty has left to take up a Media Advisory role with the State Government. His last official day was last Wednesday (https://twitter.com/ShaneDoherty9/status/968577159903068160). For now Rob Morrison has been assigned to the the political rounds.

Interesting to see Nine News Sydney back into the on-location weather broadcasts.
Wonder if we’ll see the return (didn’t happen last year) of the traditional “Easter Show Eve” forecast presented somewhere in the vicinity of the Homebush Showgrounds on March 22?

Ahh cool, must be filling in for a regular Melbourne reporter who’s gone on holidays or something.
It still wouldn’t be overly surprising if a reporter currently at Nine News Sydney is expected to leave soon though, with Darren Wick recently including a listing for a permanent reporting position at TCN along with the 12 month maternity leave position (for Kate Creedon).

I tell you what…9 have that much problems with automation they should go and see how Ten do it. Ten uses the same mosart automation minus the robotic cameras and no mistakes!
