Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

Nine is meant to be showing the 7:45pm West Tigers v Dragons game (and the NRL website still reflects that).

However, if the advanced schedule is correct, it seems like an agreement has been reached to swap their game so that election night coverage can air on the main channel nationwide.

Anthony Albanese’s decision to call an election on the same weekend as Magic Round has already produced a positive result for the Rabbitohs tragic. Nine, the owners of this masthead, will be providing extensive election coverage that Saturday night, so it can’t show the game between Wests Tigers and the Dragons which kicks off at 7.35pm. Instead, and with the blessing of Peter V’landys, the channel will show the Bunnies clash with Newcastle live at 3pm.
