Looks like Nine News Tasmania (announced at last yearâs upfronts) has been shelved.
That newsreel for the news promo seems really cringe. All the big pompous music and slogans about being âtrustedâ and âleadingâ, and then proceed to follow it with some of their most tabloid news stories (and headlining it all, of course, is the Mushroom Poisoning story).

This looks like being a long presentation. I thought it would be finished at 5.30 but they havenât mentioned any of the upcoming non-sport programming.
