Nobody knows this channel now. People still make Sky News jokes. They’ve completely fucked their brand up by using such a generic name.

A generic name that their competitor used to use. So the audience is reminded of the competitor whenever they see this name.

It’s probably for the best… 
They HAD to re-brand as the Sky News brand was stained beyond repair.
They also needed to replace their post 7pm whining bots at the same time. It doesn’t matter what it’s called when you know exactly what they will be whining about before you turn it on.
Beyond repair? The channel is exactly what they’ve been building for years. The had to change due to licensing.
