missed the tv story but read this bit…seems there is a huge toxic culture at mediaworks which is a shame as they do put out good material but certain people let them down
The Breeze has updated its iconic jingle and added a Te Reo Maori version. This is very impressive and Robert does a great job of explaining how much it means to him.
I’ve been listening to ZM tonight and I can’t believe the same song has been played three times between 7pm and 10pm! Surely they could add just a little bit more variety…
Maybe that’s why they’re hiring a new Music Director?..
Wasn’t “Drivers License” by Olivia Rodrigo was it?
Cause I know ZM likes to play the arse out of that song… but then again that’s called High Rotation radio right
What’s happening with in that slot now? No chart anymore, is it just a music shift with a bit of entertainment news?
So it turns out NZME isn’t squeaky clean…
What?
Three more members of SENZ’s weekday on-air lineup have been added.
- 6-9am: Brendon McCullum & Israel Dagg
- 9am-noon: Ian Smith
- Noon - 4pm: Mark Stafford
- 4pm-7pm: Kirstie Stanway & Stephen Donald
What a Lineup this is, Pity that TAB NZ no longer owns these Frequencies, but what about all the Kiwi Racing?
@TheStyles83 Racing will be featured on SENZ, although it will become part of its broader sporting coverage. TAB Trackside - with full coverage of New Zealand racing - can still be heard as an audio simulcast on the TAB’s website and app and on rova, the MediaWorks streaming app.
And more of the same again tonight on ZM! Who needs to hear the same album, in full, twice just hours apart?!
No one is listening to 3+ hours of CHR radio on a Friday night.
Shocking behaviour by martin devlin what us going on with shoxk jocks lashing out then bkami g mental illness
Isnt that what tony veitch did as well
Does that mean no more “Devlin Radio Show” on Newstalk ZB?
Was off air last week but back on air today. Naturally an NZME internal investigation has taken place and nothing what so ever changes… He has a convenient explanation for all of his behaviour as it turns out.
so when does start??
SENZ (New Zealand’s new Home of Sport and Racing) will begin later this year, although the exact date for its launch is yet to be confirmed.
Video and article contradicts a bit… “though it wouldn’t confirm whether the hosts were in on it” and in the write-up:
Mediaworks claims hosts Dom Harvey, Meg Mansell and Clinton Randell were not aware the contestants were interns. “It was organised by producers,”
If MW are throwing their producers under the bus that’s a bit sad. Of course the hosts would have been in on it. And I feel bad for the lady, she was obviously really invested in it and would be embarrassing for sure but the reporting “A search for love gone horribly wrong” come on, seriously…
The hosts 100% would have known about it, but I can see why MW would have denied it.
Dom, Meg and Randell are the ones with the thousands of followers on social media, and recognisable faces. The average listener could pass a producer in the street and not know who they are.
If they were going to fake most of the competition, they should have just faked the whole thing instead of messing around with this person
