Due to forecast hot temperature in Sydney this Sunday (up to 37C in the city’s west), the kickoff times for Macarthur v Melbourne City and Wanderers v Roar women’s match have both been pushed back to 7pm local time.

The 2023 Liberty A-League finals series was launched at Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney today. It starts on Saturday, April 15 and ends with the grand final on April 30. All the finals will stream on 10play and P+ with the grand final also on 10 Bold.

That’s what I’m thinking as well. It is such a niche offering that it isn’t going to bring a big number of new subscribers in and much of the current subscriber base will either have never heard of it or don’t care about South American football enough to bother watching it.

They really should’ve gone all in for the Premier League rights. That might’ve given their A-League product a bit of a push too.

I think that it is a shame that none of the Woman’s Semi Finals is shown on FTA (10Bold) and are both on Paramount +. With less than 100 days until the Women’s World Cup begins, this would be the perfect opportunity to show the Finals Series on FTA.
