I would like to see 10 promote the Women’s Grand Final over the next week. With actual ads, watermarks and everything else in between. Will it actually happen though? Sadly, no.
Australia will play Singapore on Jan 9 or 10, Iraq on Jan 14 or 15 and Tajikistan on Jan 19 or 20.
Due to timezone differences and the kick-off times not yet announced, it’s unknown which specific date the matches will fall in. This post will update when the times are released.
All matches of tournament streaming live exclusively on P+.

Championship Glory, History And Redemption Collide As The Ninja A-League Women Grand Final Lands Live On Network 10 And Paramount+.
The Ninja A-League Women season reaches its defining moment this Saturday, as Melbourne City and Wellington Phoenix prepare to face off in a blockbuster Grand Final at AAMI Park - and audiences can watch all the action live on 10 Drama, 10 Streaming and Paramount+.
After finishing as the top two teams during the regular season, the competition’s standout sides will now battle for Championship glory in what shapes as a compelling clash between established dominance and a fearless new challenger.
For Melbourne City, the Ninja A-League Women Grand Final presents the opportunity to finally convert years of dominance into Championship success.
Premiers in each of the past three seasons, City are chasing a record-equalling fifth Championship and a historic treble, having already secured the Premiership ahead of an AFC Women’s Champions League Semi Final in South Korea just days later - also streaming live on Paramount+, the home of football for Australian fans.
Michael Matricciani’s side booked their place in the decider with a composed Semi Final conquest over Melbourne Victory, sealed by a stunning strike from teenage talent Shelby McMahon in front of an electric Control Cyber Pitch crowd.
Standing in their way is a Wellington Phoenix side creating history of its own. The Phoenix will feature in their first-ever Ninja A-League Women Grand Final after a dramatic Semi Final triumph over Brisbane Roar, powered by a sold-out crowd and extra-time heroics from Makala Woods at Porirua Park.
Adding another layer to the occasion is the remarkable story surrounding Wellington Head Coach, Bev Priestman. In her first season back in football following a one-year FIFA suspension after the Paris Olympics, Priestman has guided the Phoenix to unprecedented heights, leading the club to its maiden Grand Final appearance and to the brink of a historic first Championship.
What began as a fresh start for Priestman in Wellington has quickly become one of the most compelling stories in football this season, with the Phoenix now one win away from completing an extraordinary rise.
With history on the line for both clubs, the Grand Final promises a high-quality showdown between two sides that have defined the 2026 season.

Paramount+ today announced the highly anticipated return of The Winter Festival of Football, the premier destination for world-class international football in Australia and New Zealand.
Broadcasting exclusively on Paramount+, the 2026 festival delivers an extraordinary lineup of matches across three iconic tournaments, headlined by the prestigious Sydney Super Cup.
From late July through mid-August 2026, football fans across the region can witness some of the world’s biggest clubs, including Chelsea FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC, Manchester City, Inter Milan and Juventus FC, compete across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong in a celebration of the beautiful game that also shines a spotlight on women’s football.
Adam Cush, Sports Production Director, Paramount Australia and New Zealand said: “The Winter Festival of Football represents the pinnacle of international club football in Australia and New Zealand, and this year’s lineup is truly exceptional.
“Bringing clubs of the calibre of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur to our region to face the best of the A-Leagues, exclusively on Paramount+, is a win for football fans across the country."
The jewel in the crown of The Winter Festival of Football, the Sydney Super Cup brings Premier League heavyweights Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC to Sydney’s iconic stadiums to face both local heroes and each other.
The tournament opens with Chelsea taking on the Western Sydney Wanderers at Accor Stadium on 28 July, before Tottenham battle Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium on 29 July. The headline clash, Chelsea FC v Tottenham Hotspur FC, takes centre stage at Accor Stadium on 1 August.
The Sydney Super Cup also celebrates women’s football in a landmark fixture**: Chelsea Women’s vs A-League All Stars Women** at Allianz Stadium on 12 August, a fitting finale to the festival and a statement of intent for the women’s game in this country.
The Winter Festival of Football extends beyond Sydney with two further world-class events. The Hong Kong Football Festival at the state-of-the-art Kai Tak Sports Park sees Manchester City face Inter Milan on 1 August, followed by Chelsea FC against Juventus FC on 5 August, a mouthwatering contest between two of European football’s most storied clubs.
Across the Tasman, the NZ International Football Festival at the iconic Eden Park, Auckland, opens The Winter Festival with Tottenham Hotspur FC taking on Auckland FC on 26 July, and concludes with a historic women’s match, Chelsea Women’s versus Auckland FC Women, on 8 August.
The festival also extends to Southeast Asia, with Chelsea FC travelling to Indonesia to face Juventus FC at GBK Stadium in Jakarta on 8 August.
All matches are brought to fans by TEG Sport and available live and exclusively on Paramount+ with subscription plans starting from $7.99 per month for a monthly subscription or from $70.99 for an annual subscription.
Anything on 10?
The press release clearly says “broadcasting exclusively in Paramount+”, so no matches (including the Sydney Super Cup) will be on 10 unfortunately.
Interesting the All-Stars aren’t on FTA.

Needed to have a run through with the post match presentations. Debacle with how quickly she raced through the names, didn’t read out numbers, read the Nix captain first. Her first I get that but still, should have had Leo James the City MC present like the other year.
10’s coverage from 5:30 PM AEST
40 minutes only?
So that they can deliver the 5pm bulletin, albeit just 30 mins.
Are 10… reducing the bulletin for A-League? Or is A-League on 10 drama?
