Towards the end of tonight’s coverage, was a promotion to “The Weekly Kick Off” - the highlights show that airs on 10Bold and on Paramount+ on Wednesday nights. Which was great to see. A shame they didn’t advertise a starting time though…

B&T understands that while Stan is likely to land the full-season Premier League rights, Paramount is in talks to acquire rights to a package of exhibition matches, scheduled for later this year. While these games fall outside the regular competition, they could offer Paramount, which B&T understands did make a bid for the full rights, another entry point into the global football arena.

I don’t even know why they’d go in for those - they are not going to move the subscription needle. Maybe on FTA they might be okay but seems like a waste of $$

It’s just the usual “Winter Festival of Football” friendlies they air every year. Don’t even know how it’s worthy of an article mention.

They may just be a formal set the EPL are selling this year, rather than the club-by-club setup usually seen. Might be a return of the Premier League Cup or Asia Trophy?
The article misses out some pretty simple details so just assuming the writer isn’t across football.

Still disappointing again to see Paramount submit an equal or greater bid but still get rejected.
