Yep, with the Men’s fixtures released today it’s confirmed that both FTA games will be on Saturday evening/night in a double header:

This makes sense since NBL is going to be on 10 for next season and their season do overlap. If nbl doesn’t rate it could get switched to 10bold now because no A-league

Saturday night double headers for 10 Bold? I didn’t expect that. I like it.
Game 1 is 5pm kick off. Game 2 is 7.35pm kickoff.

A shame that there will be no “match of the round” for the A-League Women’s comp though on any of 10’s television channels.

Kayo chief would ‘absolutely’ consider bringing A-Leagues back

Appearing on the latest episode of Mumbrella’s one-on-one podcast, the CEO of Foxtel’s streaming and advertising division (including Kayo Sports) Julian Ogrin, said it would be interested in looking at the rights again should they become available in 2026.

So they can destroy it again? Please. He’s the streaming boss anyway not the Sports boss.

A write up of the new rights deal over 5 years. More games in the overall package with roughly half behind the paywall. That’s the same ratio as the current rights deal. They’ve probably struck the right balance and it lives in the same ecosystem.

No dollar figure given but it’s the largest rights deal the FA have done with an uptick in the fee.

As for the A league. There’s no rush by Paramount to opt for their three year extension. APL wants to do the ext Edison it would seem but mcgarvey said they aren’t hurrying.

Cue the meltdown today by Robbie Slater in the News Corp press about these rights. He’ll have some unhinged and uninformed view of the process all because he didn’t get a job at 10 a few years ago when the rights switched from Fox. He suffers from relevancy depravation syndrome.
