Was very surprised to see this. There seems to be a lot of hype around her tour as well.

I didn’t know she was still so popular!

It will be Hilary Duff’s first Australian tour for two decades and so it was always going to be highly anticipated.

I tried getting tickets, but they swiftly sold out.

American rockers Shinedown, best known for their 2009 hit “Second Chance” which charted well in Australia that year, have announced they’ll be touring here this September.

Their Melbourne show is on Friday 25 September - one day before the AFL Grand Final. Could they potentially be GF entertainment headliners?

I can honesty say I’ve never even heard of Shinedown. On the other hand, their touring mates Bush have been more prolific, I think.

Harry Styles’ latest album Kiss All The Time. Disco Occasionally has debuted at number one on the ARIA Albums chart, knocking Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving off top spot.

On the singles chart, Man I Need retains top spot.

Mel C’s tour will finish in Australia in mid November, with concerts in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Taylor Swift won seven awards from nine nominations, including Artist of the Year.

This week on the ARIA charts. Olivia Dean #1 song in Australia for the 19th week. Five more weeks to tie with Tones and I’s Dance Monkey for the crown.

The charts have become very boring with little movement from week to week and very few new songs getting a chance to shine.

It’s interesting how a song like Dracula by Tame Impala was released about six months ago and had radio airplay but only now peaks at #7.

I got a bit of a shock when I walked into my local JB HiFi this morning (though perhaps not totally unexpectedly) to see that they have halved the number of CDs for sale.. there is now more space dedicated to vinyl LPs than CDs.

A far cry from the early days of JB (mid 2000s here) when their ads used to say ‘50,000 CDs in every store’.

Looks like Tame Impala is having a worldwide hit with Dracula. #12 in the UK and #25 in the US
