I think the person who was covering the case out of Melbourne should have got the gig for the verdict.
Any excuse to submit it for Walkley or Logies consideration I guess. Reaso must have mates who make the calls on this stuff.

10 seem like they’re scrambling to put this together a little, pre-prepared package from Abby was quite good, but Jen seemed to struggle a little to fill some time, could also hear her whisper something to someone off-air.
They’ve got 3 reporters there, Abby Dinham, Steph Baumgartel, and Samantha Butler (the later presumably for 10 News+)
Abby called Jen ‘Ange’ twice just before reading out the verdicts.
Edit: They’ve just wrapped and gone to Lingo, 5pm bulletins teased for more info, but no mention of Afternoon?

Not the most bizarre thing they’ve done today IMO - the 15 minute block of WOF was odd.
Yep agree as well as Penelope who has also been hosting a successful podcast on the case as well.
Looking at it Nines coverage seems superior.
A lot of awkward camera and dead moments on 7. Probably getting direction from the Sydney newsroom = a mess ha

I thought Estelle Griepink has done a fantastic job too, not sure if she covered it from day dot though.
