Good for a largely-filler block between 9 and 11pm local time. Handily outrate Seven’s 9-1-1.
No doubt other networks will exclude the Aus Open and Winter Olympics from YTD / end of year reporting, as one is summer non-survey and the other used to be usually excluded as a one-off 4 yearly major special event in a gentlemens agreement.
But it’ll be tough for Nine to exclude you’d think!
Seems fairly on par per market to the Aus Open, but overall it’s higher and quicker/earlier, perhaps owing to being on-air more 2am to 2am and especially having most interest in that late prime time period.
Adelaide and Perth seem higher, while either Sydney and Melbourne appear on par or lower or it’s Brisbane that’s higher. Because accounting for the fact Melbourne TV is usually always higher than Sydney, Brisbane seems oddly closer to Sydney, given the market size difference?
Code them by shift. That’d be better, I suppose. Then go from there.
As it stands, Ally and James are hosting over three blocks.
I guess it’s a blessing that they haven’t coded by event.
Idol was 4th in Melbourne.
9Gem must be getting some huge m/c shares.
