getting rid of the Family Feud simulcast? Bold move

I donā€™t like it. If you are going to move Family Feud, you might as well move it to a late night edition with extra bits in the show that werenā€™t shown at 6pm. I see no point with Family Feud at 7 unless it moves late nigth. How I Met Your Mother is doing great in demos and I see no point in changing it at all.

Iā€™m not moving Family Feud. It would still be shown on Ten at 6pm. Just encored on Eleven at 7pm. How I Met Your Mother is doing great in the demos hence why I gave it a more primetime spot.

Wednesday and Thursday Nights on 7flix Once The Amazing Race Concludes itā€™s Current Season:

7:30 The Gopdbergs - New Episodes
8:00 Grandfathered - New Series

Is grandfathered a seven show. Thought it was produced by FOX.

It is Produced by FOX and ABC Studios

Interesting ideas there. I like the Crime channel.

How would they stretch The Hit over 5 nights a week?

Good question. I would do a ā€˜concertā€™ style episode each night so the contestant since a bunch of songs at the end of the episode all 5 contestants do a group performance.

I think I may be thinking of a different format?

WIN [Weekday Schedule] after July 1. My mock schedule is a bit similar to meteoritetvā€™s, to be honest.

6.00 - All Australian News (Exclusive to WIN)
7.00 - Spongebob Squarepants [ā€œWIN Kidsā€] (Exclusive to WIN)
7.30 - Pokemon [ā€œWIN Kidsā€] (Exclusive to WIN)
8.00 - Pre-school Program [ā€œWIN Kidsā€] (Exclusive to WIN)
8.30 - Studio 10
11.00 - Susie (Revival of WINā€™s ā€œSusieā€ program. Would also be the slot for a possible ā€œTen Morning Newsā€)
12.00pm - Dr Phil
13.00 - The Doctors
14.00 - Benā€™s Menu
14.30 - Good Chef Bad Chef
15.00 - Judge Judy
15.30 - Alive & Cooking
16.00 - Entertainment Tonight
16.30 - Bold And The Beautiful
17.00 - Ten Eyewitness News
18.00 - WIN Local News (Exclusive to WIN)
18.30 - The Project (Personally I would reduce it to 30 minutes).
19.30 - Primetime
23.30 - Ten Late News (if revived) or WIN Late News (WIN Late News would be a national news bulletin).
12.00am - WIN Presents (Entertainment filler program)
12.30am - Infomercials / WIN Crawford Productions

For what itā€™s worth, Iā€™ve had a go at a mock WIN weekday schedule (for regions currently with full local news bulletins from WIN) under Network Ten affiliation post-July 1.

WIN Weekdays

6am - Encores
7am - WINā€™s All Australian News (repeat)
8am - Repeat of the previous nightā€™s (or Fridayā€™s if itā€™s a Monday) local news bulletin
8.30am - Studio 10
11am - WINā€™s All Australian News
12pm - Dr Phil
1pm - The Doctors
2pm - Entertainment Tonight
2.30pm - Judge Judy
3pm - Alive & Cooking
3.30pm - Good Chef Bad Chef/Everyday Gourmet/Other Ten cooking show
4pm - The Bold & The Beautiful
4.30pm - Family Feud (repeat of the previous nightā€™s episode, or Fridayā€™s if itā€™s a Monday)
5pm - Ten Eyewitness News: First At Five
6pm - WIN Local News
6.30pm - The Project
7.30pm - Regular primetime programing
10.30pm - WINā€™s All Australian News (repeat)
11.30pm - The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
12.30am - The Project Encore
1.30am - Infomercials/Religious Programing/Classic Crawfords Programing
4am - CBS This Morning

Thoughts, comments and criticisms are welcome as always. The main/only reason for airing All Australian News three times a day, purely as a substitute for Ten-produced news bulletins in those timeslots.

In my opinion, Family Feud on WIN at 4:30 must be a new episode. It sets up the night, leads into the news. Itā€™s an important slot. A new Family Feud at 4:30 would surely crush its rivals on Seven and Southern Cross.

For WIN (and also for Ten), Iā€™d consider a Project re-run at 10:30. Just gets the brand out there. Itā€™s ā€œnewā€ (as in, made today). Itā€™s topical. Itā€™s very Aussie and very Ten.

Potential WIN line-up against Nine and Prime:

WIN

4.30 The Bold and the Beautiful
5.00 Ten Eyewitness News: First at Five
6.00 WIN News
6.30 The Project

That will be the schedule. Thereā€™s no way WIN will air Family Feud at 6 unless Ten forces them to.

But why do you think WIN would give up the chance to air Family Feud at 4:30 (on WIN alone)? The Bold and the Beautiful is good, but Family Feud is better.

Donā€™t be so sure. They need Family Feud on Ten. Letā€™s wait for a while before being sure about it
