Good point. One that I tend to forget given I’m in an area where only ABC and SBS are available via FOXTEL.
I don’t know that I can add that in now without resetting the poll count.
I also didn’t include streaming, but mostly because I was trying to look at the more traditional broadcast platforms.
I only watch FTA (which is somewhat rare) via the catch-up and streaming apps on my Apple TV.
Foxtel is through a Set Top Box.
For me it’s everything through a Fetch PVR.
I guess if I really wanted to really get into watching a show, I’d watch directly through a TV.
Recording wise, a mix of a Set Top Box (with USB recording capabilities) & USB TV stick through a laptop (that’s how I do most of my recordings when travelling).
I generally only use streaming for TV or radio I can’t receive through terrestrial means.
Via a normal TV and I preselect shows for record on TVHeadend.
Direct to TV in my bedroom, but the lounge room TV is hooked up to a PVR (an old Topfield that supports MPEG4) so most viewing (live or recorded) is done through that
On the rare occasion I watch FTA, it’ll be through iView or SBS on Demand. Haven’t watched the commercial networks in years.
