A couple of âafter the tennisâ Married tie-ins tonight, one during an ad with âlove heartsâ the focus, another on court pop-up.
Interesting that Nine have gone down that old Seven route in regards to such marketing, when until this year they resisted and for 6 years too. Including discussing it amongst the commentators, which Todd and Johnny Millman have done more than once tonight with TP and Married.
Jim & JA and later but less so Bruce used to do it all the time in the 2000s âah yes, Summer Bay, do you know much about Home & Away, Jim?â ⌠âLost, coming to screens soonâ. âJohn, oh yeah man, this show has been going nuts back in the States, you guys will love it manâ.
Whoopsy. They have been advertising all weekend this starts âNext Mondayâ
Thanks didnât learn that one in school
Itâs actually a really confusing one. I totally get it makes no sense but itâs a thing? lol
In my head the term would be âMonday weekâ.
Well Iâve learnt something today.
Put it this way. (I do lol)
Are you really going to say today, oh next Monday, referring to tomorrow?
No.
Youâre going to say âsee you tomorrowâ. Not see you next Monday.
Someone from MAFS will probably be saying C U Next Tuesday.
A few outlets appear to indicate that they have screwed up this season as they had a whole bunch of people leave in the first week and have needed to pull in all these new intruders, and really play with the edit.
Perhaps time for a strategy change. They have just got way too lost down the love island rabbit hole. They need to somewhat go back to their roots, less influencerâs. You can still have drama without forcing all those types upon the show.
Producers needs to work harder, smarter and be more creative. Just taking on a whole bunch of influencers and forcing drama, does become tiresome eventually. MKR learnt the hard way on that front.

Not that their odds of finding a love match on MAFS are great â of the over 100 couples the show has matched across its decade-long run, just seven remain together today.
Thatâs an indictment on the show and just demonstrates how it (in its current iteration) is not designed for the âcouplesâ to succeed neither while theyâre on the show or once the cameras stop rolling.
I think you could say that about all âmatch made in heaven showsâ. First Date, Farmer wants a Wife, The Bachelor. Itâs the minority that remain together
On tonightâs episode of Iâm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Samantha Moitzi confirmed that she was headhunted to take part in season 9. She had just split with her boyfriend of six years after he cheated on her.
âI am aliveâ: Inside MAFS starâs brave cancer battle after shock diagnosis
Married At First Sight star Mel Schilling has opened up about her battle with bowel cancer, telling how her painful symptoms were initially dismissed by doctors and she was told to go home and take some laxatives.
âThey (doctors) said to me âhere are some laxatives, go away and take that and you will be fineâ,â Schilling said.
âIt wasnât fine, it was a tumour the size of a lime and they were telling me take some sachets and you will be right.
âI think you know if something is not right. Because it is poo, people donât want to talk about it (bowel cancer).
Schilling had the tumour removed and underwent six months of chemotherapy in 2024.
âI am in remission,â she said.
âWhile I would love to say I am out the other side, I donât feel I am there yet. I had a scan this week and will be getting the results next week, so it is ongoing.
âI will be having scans every three months for a while, just to keep monitoring everything.
WA bride Carina also attended the season launch.

Once you get set up with a VPN, you can not only stream MAFS Australia Season 12, but you also unlock all the marital drama of past seasons.
Surprised they are so blatant about it. Also no advise on the 9Now account requesting a location.
