Who’s the bitch now?

Also I’m so over Al doing shooeys, I hope he catches some disease from it. Surprised Brent is a part of it with his holier than thou attitude.

She has been all along!

Please tell me you didn’t read the article, because it is extraordinarily disturbing to think that you would claim she’s ‘playing the victim’ by saying her mental health is not ok, after being humiliated and shamed on national TV for months. It is possible to say that her actions on the show were awful and at the same time that the social media pile-on she’s received is also toxic, a pile-on that would cause mental health issues for anyone in her position.

I got tired of eye rolling by the time I finished reading that article. Don’t know which aspect of what Adrian Swift said in it is more unbelievable:

  1. The notion that Nine “
don’t make things happen” on MAFS (yeah right);
  2. Nine really, really doesn’t want to air things like the toothbrush toilet cleaning incident (even though they promote the heck out of such moments); or
  3. Swift’s claim that ““Married At First Sight” at its core is a show about love. It’s not a show about drama" (most of Nine’s advertising and promotions about the show revolves around the drama for heavens sakes).

I didn’t read it all but I’ve heard Olivia in about 3 radio interviews in the past week and it’s the same old story. Poor me, blame the edit and taking no (or very very little) responsibility for anything that she’s done.

There is a very easy way to turn the tables on the situation. Take some accountability and/or apologise. That’s what Domenica did. Selina did that also and gained a lot of respect. She has chosen not to do it (or claims it was edited out). Well say these things more openly publically if you mean them and people will move on. Otherwise expect the backlash.

So ends another and probably the best season of MAFS where it will almost certainly make it 5 years? as Australia’s number 1 show. I hadn’t properly watched the show for a while but this season got me hooked. Excellent cast, editing, and promos that keeps you invested week after week. I definitely think 9 promote their shows best out of all the networks.

It’s taken many seasons but the producers finally had a cheating couple that not only went all out in their shamelessness but have actually stayed together and aren’t shy about it. It’ll be very hard to top that season and surely the ratings will have to decline from here.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I find Nine’s promotion of everything as a ‘BIGGEST SCANDAL SINCE WORLD WAR II’ or ‘MELTDOWN OF THE CENTURY’ as very nauseating. Viewers seemed to be sucked in by it (be it for MAFS, 60 Minutes, The Block) but one day that style of promotion is going to run out of steam.

Then again, I wouldn’t put it past Seven or 10 doing the same type of promotion if they ever got their hands on Married at First Sight (I’m sure Seven would love to have that or one of Nine’s biggest tentpoles on their slate).

Feel like people have said both of those things for the past few years now only for it to turn out the following year that a) MAFS found a way to ‘one-up’ itself yet again and b) The show is still in a league of its own ratings-wise.

I can’t see the latter changing anytime soon considering no matter how far the contestants/the show goes and no matter how outraged some might be about what happens on it, the Australian viewing public seemingly can’t get enough of the dumpster fire of a show that is MAFS.

I don’t think they would since each network has a unique promotion style that the other networks wouldn’t replicate.

So there you go, Mitch and Ella split and Mitch may be with Tamara and after all the s##t they gave Tamara at the reunion. Seems like she was right about Mitch’s intentions with his drunken phone call. Hypocrisy at its highest!

I just caught up with the finale ep. Watching Olivia & Dom’s recap I could see the trajectory of how Olivia got to where she is. The first altercation with the wine glass, Dom wouldn’t shut up and was talking over everyone and getting into Carolina’s business and Olivia was calmly talking to Dom about it and told her she’s loud and aggressive which is true.

Then Dom smashed the glass and Olivia was over her. (I get the feeling she’s grown up with violence and shes numb to it now but that’s just my thoughts, so it was triggering) Then any future interaction with her she just didn’t want a bar of her and when she did say something back to Dom like “oh this is boring, you’re boring” it was EXACTLY WHAT DOM SAID to Olivia in the first place at the retreat. She was giving Dom back her own medicine. Then she’s told her friends about Dom and being supportive they dug up dirt on her like girls do and found those pics and Olivia used it to show Dom isn’t who she says she is and wanted others to see that too but they all suck up Dom’s arse.

Just from this ep too, Dom was pulling all the faces under the sun and making snide comments on all the video packages and Olivia said nothing. Olivia even seemed upset when Cody was killing Bambi on the couch, so she must have empathy to feel that. She just doesn’t have it towards certain people like Dom.

According to today’s Sunday Herald Sun, Australian Communications and Media Authority has received 40 viewer complaints related to this season of MAFS, compared with 67 from last season.

Normal people need not apply. Childish, immature wannabe social influencers welcome. Be prepared to be deliberately mismatched and vilified for the sake of a media company’s bottom line

She’s still going on about it! Now it’s been revealed the image came from Twitter which is a public platform and full of porn! Also she had a Twitter account too promoting her Onlyfans. I don’t understand how she’s saying it caused her hurt and pain it was distributed. So if Olivia and others had paid to see it then its fine? Seriously people these days

I think you’ve missed the point entirely. They were spreading it and gossiping about it behind her back whilst on national television. I’d be traumatised too if that happened to me.

Domenica mentioned numerous times that she owns the photos being online and it was her choice etc. That wasn’t her issue. It was the spreading of them maliciously that caused her pain.
