Nine are promoting Wednesday as âThe greatest dinner party of all timeâ. Now Iâve only watched a couple seasons of MAFS but I think itâs going to be pretty hard to top the Cyrell/Martha wine throwing incident. Maybe Coco comes in for the steal of Cam.
Ok well this season is definitely taking the drama to another level. At least you can follow whatâs happening so far unlike last season where a lot happened off camera. Bryce and Sam were as bad as each other in that argument tonight but Cam was the worst being so disrespectful to Samantha. I also really canât stand Coco either. It seems like a few bombshells to come on Sunday.
A+E Networks Asia has bought season 6 of MAFS (which premiered on Nine in 2019) and will launch it in Japan and Korea for the first time. Season 7 will screen on Sky Italia.
It looks like next week they are sending all the couples away on some sort of trip/holiday together. The promo shows poolside shots and they all in some sort of big house together. It looks very Bachelor in paradise style. Is this the first time that theyâve done this? Bring on the drama, if the rumours are true there is plenty more to come this season.
From the promos it looks like Bryce blindsides Melissa cause he thinks heâs on Survivor or something and writes âleaveâ but we know Melissa has Stockholm syndrome and would always write stay so that will cause the drama for the following week.
100% the same. I think Bryce has a very bad temper and doesnât handle himself very well but I donât understand why the (so called) experts donât call Bec out as well. She loves stirring up drama and some of the things she said about Jake on their âweddingâ day were not in very good taste.
Yeah but what sheâs doing is just horrible to Melissa. If she was genuine in her reasons for bringing this stuff up and/or if what she was saying was true (such as the flirting) - then why doesnât she speak to or address it with Mel? She doesnât seem to care about how it impacts her and is just trying to stir up crap with Bryce because she clearly doesnât like him.
I reckon Bryce writes âleaveâ but his reasoning will be to continue with Mel outside the experiment and away from the drama. It probably wonât be as shocking or dramatic as the promos make out but it might lead to the drama that the promos are showing later in the week.
The thing with tonight is that I 100% agree with Bryce that Bec is behaving like a bully towards Melissa. I really canât stand her. However then I just canât support Bryce either with the way that he behaves. That Leave Stay card tonight just made no sense.
He knows the in and outs of the show and is aware that the stunt will have the producers running with it - particularly in the dramatic promos leading up to it.
His appearance on the show is a tactic for him to boost his radio/media career alongside some fame, since the commercial radio networks in Australia love hiring reality TV talent due to the development of strong communication and overall confidence from appearing on these shows + being familiar with their target audience. In order to achieve this, Bryce needs to make himself the main character of the show for as long as possible.
I do believe Becâs story though but it is really starting to drag now.
Think thatâs non excitement atm as the Canberra station fired him. Youâre probably right though; some rubbish Sydney or Melbourne station will give him a gig off the back of this.
Bryces behaviour is 100% the bullying behaviour. Not Bec. That being said, Melissa and her state of mind should not be anywhere near this show.
Thatâs a rather overly detailed way of saying it wouldnât be too surprising if Bryce Ruthven eventually becomes a breakfast presenter on either 2DayFM or KIIS 101.1!
Previous Big Brother winners/runner-ups end up on radio or as a roaming TV reporter half the time.
Some of the MAFS gossip podcasts have suggested he is working behind-the-scenes at NOVA now whilst appearing on the show. Not sure if itâs confirmed or not.
