That article looks like clickbait at its finest. Supposed ‘trashing’ of trashy reality shows like MAFS only serve to enhance its influence through the mainstream media. Nine would be clapping their hands in glee that News Corp is promoting their top show pretty much for free.

Is the number bad for US Cable network standards?
Looking at the cable ratings it seems like those are not bad ratings for the Lifetime channel as their shows don’t usually make the top 50 cable shows other than when they aired Lifetime original movies.
According to promo shown tonight, the current season of MAFS (screening on Lifetime) will be reviewed on Celebrity Gogglebox USA this week.

I am guity of watching this “garbage” but NOT if these two appear on it. This would be going well below the bottom of the barrel! Are we going to have one of the “Karens” on I’m A Celebrity?

I thought the surface of the barrel had already gone after the infamous “wine pour” and “toothbrush” incidents.
While there’s a temptation to go on a massive rant about this genre of programming from commercial TV, I suspect many on Media Spy think enough has been said by me about this topic over the last 12-18 months.

Is a Dr not usually an expert in something? They are also referred to as Experts on the show so I don’t know what else they would refer to them as.
Probably because they’ve lost all credibility as a professional.

Probably.
I have no problems with relationship experts wanting to contribute something to the media, however MAFS isn’t really the best platform to do that.
