Hadley is great at comedy, more today. This is a quote Jocksâ Journal have found:

2GB/4BC radio host Ray Hadley says ABC Brisbane did him a favour by reshuffling their program line-up. ABCâs Steve Austin was moved to a new Drive program. Hadley said. âWe started about 8 points behind the ABC nearly two years ago. Iâm now consistently about 8 per cent. The ABC gave me a huge favour with their program changes; their previous host was a proven performer."
No surprise to many of you that Ray canât add up. He thinks heâs 8% now but was 8 behind the ABC. Subtract 8 from 8 and supposedly he began on a Talking Lifestyle share. Never happened:

Remember 612 mornings begins 8:30am, so some of the 13.7% bâfast share contributes to the 8:30 - 11am result (ie. it would be higher most likely)

4BC keeping what jobs are left within the family, Jarryd Braybrook has begun in the newsroom. He is also a panel op and has been for some time.
3AW has revamped its Sunday sports coverage for 2018. The preview show for the 3.20pm AFL match has been reduced from three hours to one hour, and will now start at 2pm Melbourne time. From midday to 2pm, there will be a new show called Sunday Sport, hosted by Daniel Harford, Jimmy Bartel, and Mark Robinson from the Herald Sun and Fox Footyâs AFL 360.
And yet theyâre starting a sports station, so they create more sports content for AW.

3AW newsreader Tony Tardio and The Australianâs Chip Le Grand were involved in a minor stoush yesterday, just after Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherlandâs press conference on ball tampering. According to Fox Sports reporter Tom Morris on Sportsday, Tardio asked several forceful questions at Sutherland as all journalists do, and at one stage Le Grand asked Tardio: âAre you even a journalist?â Tardio forcefully replied: âYes.â After the press conference finished and Sutherland walked away, Le Grand had another go at Tardio verbally, but Tardio didnât want it and started to walk away, it was when Le Grand pushed Tardio and both men had to be separated by fellow journalists.

Yes, he does and his equally bully of an employer, News Ltd will simply wave him on.
3AW Nightline will be broadcast from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre tonight from 7pm to midnight AEDT, at the backstage of Good Friday Appeal Super Show. Fiona Byrne and Luke Dennehy will be special guests.

Congratulations to 3AW Nightline co-host Philip Brady who celebrated 60 years in the entertainment industry yesterday. Brady began working at GTV9 as a booth announcer on Easter Monday 1958.

Interesting to have 2GB/3AW evenings host Steve Price on Nova 100 this morning promoting his role in Priscilla Queen of the Desert musical. Can you imagine Ray Hadley appearing on FM breakfast show like Kyle & Jackie O or Fitzy & Wippa?
