Really disappointing for the Melbourne television industry.

It’s just one show. I’m sure the Melbourne industry will survive.

1 show hey?

The last 12 months…

Dancing With the Stars
Mask Singer
Ninja Warrior
The Chase
Lego Masters

Not good for a lot of people who work in the local industry and for the largest free to air tv market.

I think The Block will continue to keep Melbourne occupied for quite a while. Plus they still have Masterchef and Making It produced in Melbourne so it’s not that bad.

Perhaps if Nine commissions SnackMasters they could base it in Melbourne.

Wasn’t there resent discussions last week that The Block was also moving to NSWs?

Byron Bay.

A lot of these productions only moved due to COVID &/or the studios in Sydney being fulled booked out by Disney. Some productions were bound to return at some point.

LEGO® Masters Australia returns for two magical Bricksmas Specials on Sunday, November 21 and Sunday, November 28 at 7.00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now .

Four celebrity guests will be teamed up with some of the greatest LEGO® builders from past seasons, to form four LEGO® super teams. The teams will battle it out over two episodes in the quest to be crowned LEGO® Masters Bricksmas winners.

Host Hamish Blake and Judge Ryan “Brickman” McNaught will guide the teams as they create extraordinary Christmas-themed builds.

Stepping foot into the LEGO® Masters world for the first time are celebrities Scott Cam, Sophie Monk, Brooke Boney and Michael “Wippa” Wipfli, who will put their building skills to the test.

The celebrities will be joined by returning contestants Michael ( Season 3 ), Stani ( Season 2 ), Jay ( Season 2 ), and one half of the LEGO® Masters first-ever winning team, Henry ( Season 1 ). Once competing as team mates on Season 2 of LEGO® Masters, Stani and Jay will now go head to head.

For the first time in LEGO® Masters Australia history, Brickman will be putting his world-renowned skills on show, assisting each team with their Christmas builds.

With less than six weeks until Christmas, these two special LEGO® Masters episodes are certain to get the whole family into the festive spirit.

Tonight the four teams play for an advantage in the second and final episode next week. The winning team will receive a red Bricksmas trophy, plus $20,000 worth of Lego toys from Lego Australia. Those toys will then be donated to Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal.

In both episodes, Brickman will help each team with the build for one hour.

Wippa had to leave the set with more than two hours left in building time, after he was notified by text message that he was a casual contact of a COVID case. He had to watch the reveal and winner announcement via Facetime.

Brooke posted on her Instagram after her win.
