I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (Ten)

Yeah there is no way that any current AFL player would be going on this show. It has to be someone who has retired (or maybe isn’t playing this season).

Rhonda Burchmore sounds about right. The real lady thing did make me think of real housewives as well though but I don’t know who would do it if it was. It would have to be an international one as the new local season is about to go to air and the only option here is Andrea who left the show but no way would she do it. She doesn’t need the money and as we saw on the show she is successful enough and so busy.

Kevin Perry of Decider TV suggesting it could be Julie Andrews, she doesn’t strike me of someone willing or needing to participate in a show like this.

That actually makes a lot of sense with the musical ‘My fair lady’ and the real lady comment plus the fact that she has been spending a lot of time in Australia recently. It would be amazing if it was Julie Andrew’s. Even though she wouldn’t necessarily need to do something like this she could see it as an avenue of raising the profile of the new musical.

I’ve got a feeling it won’t be her. It will be someone who has been in theatre, hosted a radio show and been on tv

There should be a panel show during the BBL non nights on predicting potential guests.

It would rate better than the actual show.

Sorry to let facts get in the way of a good story. Julie Andrew’s movie debut was in Mary Poppins in 1964 - she was 29, not a teenager. Besides, I have friends working with her on My Fair Lady in Sydney and unless she’s showing up on the show for 24 hours, I highly doubt a legend of her status would need or want to do it.

In regards to Rhonda Birchmore, again, I don’t want to ruin News Ltd’s story but she was 22, not 12, in The Pirate Movie. That said, she’s more likely to do it than Andrews.

You do know what a triple threat is right?

I assumed it was someone who has excelled in three different areas of a particular field; i.e theater, radio and tv. Now I am questioning it.

No. In theatre terms, it is someone who can Sing, dance and act.

Ok. I would just be open to thinking that perhaps ten are slightly more vague on the clues. I wouldn’t limit it to being someone primarily in theater.

Most people in theatre also do TV and if they’re lucky, movies. It’s called making a living.

Oh I didn’t realise people in the industry wanted to make a living…

I’m saying your being a little too closed in terms of the clue. Chris Brown recently said on the Project that the clues were vague enough and clever enough to bring up 5 different options. But they were also vague enough that they could mean many things. I have heard of triple threats in football, in theater, in grid iron, in swimming… They could be meaning anything by triple threat.

I believe their interpretation of triple threat is someone who has excelled in three areas of the industry. For example radio, theater and television.

Has My Fair Lady been cast yet?

That web site, despite the excellent credentials of those who run it, has a surprising number of factual errors in articles - a couple of days ago they had the “start of official ratings on Sunday the 31st”

yep, someone who was in this years’ The Block. :stuck_out_tongue:

OMG Dame Julie that would have to be the most ludicrous rumour I’ve read so far! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Rhonda Birchmore has posted a photo on Instagram at the Qantas Lounge captioned she’s off to the jungle. That counts her out.

Edit: she’s now in NY

Would the celebrities be going there this early though? The start is still nearly two weeks away.
