Lynne McGranger reveals on the Hit Network’s Dan & Christie how she missed her own farewell
Lynne McGranger revealed she didn’t watch her emotional Home and Away farewell episode last night … because she was on a flight to Launceston.
The departing actress, who played Irene Roberts for 33 years, told co-host and former Home and Away star Christie Hayes that while the cast and crew previewed the episode weeks ago, she missed the TV broadcast live on-air.
Lynne said the flight had no wi-fi on-board but explained she had had a “teary” viewing of the episode with Seven Network Chairman Kerry Stokes a few weeks back.
