Smith and Gillespie will play Harris Drover and Troy Barrett, respectively, the couple at the center of Role Model, the fifth book in Rachel Reid’s bestselling Game Changers series, on which Heated Rivalry is based.
After Season 1 adapted Book 2, Heated Rivalry, which chronicles the budding romance between rival hockey players Shane Hollander (Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Storrie), while also incorporating elements from Book 1, Game Changer (featuring Scott and Kip), Heated Rivalry creator Jacob Tierney had said that Season 2 will continue Shane and Ilya’s story by tackling Book 6, The Long Game, while also introducing a new couple by taking on Role Model.
The second season of the British version of the legendary late night comedy show will return to Sky and streaming service NOW on Saturday 12 September with the first six episodes, which will air weekly.
Six more episodes for season 2 will then air in early 2027.
The second season of SNL UK should stream on HBO Max in Australia on Mondays from September 14, assuming the broadcast arrangement is the same as season 1.
Canadian softball comedy series Slo Pitch is coming to HBO Max in Australia on September 25.

The series will premiere on HBO Max globally on Thursday, September 17 at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET, with new episodes releasing subsequent Thursdays.
That translates to 5am AEST on Thursdays.
The new season of The Howard Stern Show will debut on SiriusXM on Monday, September 14, with new live episodes airing every Monday as the program goes down from two to one show a week. They will be adapted into streamable episodes made available on HBO Max three days later, along with periodic extras.
