Get ready to play, HARD! Hard Quiz Kids returns for season 2 this October
The ABC is thrilled to announce the second season of Hard Quiz Kids launches at 7:30pm, Saturday 4 October on ABC Family, and will be available from Friday 3 October on ABC iview. Gold Logie Award-winning comedian Tom Gleeson is back to host the popular Hard Quiz spin-off, with a new group of 10 to12-year-old trivia titans taking the stage with their expert subjects.
With his trademark grumpiness and wicked humour, Tom will grill the junior experts as they go head-to-head on topics including Bluey, cassowaries, Harry Styles, Star Trek, elephants and Australian Politics.
Over four bespoke rounds of trivia the kids try to outsmart Tom, and each other, for bragging rights, glory and the coveted Big Brass Mug.

left standing takes home the Big Brass Mug! Tonight’s experts are Campbell with Star Trek, Frankie
with Pitch Perfect, Elijah with Christiano Ronaldo, and Audrey testing her knowledge of Nevermoor.

This season, as well as the kids’ chosen topics, Tom will bring his own expertise to bear, schooling them in such brain-testing topics as dress-ups, rocks, and farts.
Tom has also roped in surprise appearances for the kids from an acclaimed author, an award-winning comedy duo, and from Gardening Australia Junior, Tom’s nemesis, Costa Georgiadis.
