If they were on air at a Sydney FM station at breakfast they would be either:
a) pulling silly faces
b) covered in gold paint
c) photoshopped and injected with fillers so they don’t look a day over 25
d) forced to wear baseball caps whilst doing all the above
Christian O’Connell was absent from his radio show this morning (Wednesday) after running into a solid glass reinforced door at the house of a friend of his daughter’s on Monday night. He suffered a bump and split nose.
Hillsong Church is tonight officially opening their new Macquarie building at 5 Byfield St, Macquarie Park, right next door to WSFM, KIIS1065 and The Edge 96.1. I wonder if Keller, Jones, Sandilands and O have been invited?
An in-depth read of this article would suggest that us Sydneysiders should expect to see a new ad for WSFM on TV soon.
Thoughts on what to expect? My guess is that the new ad will mainly be used to promote Jonesy & Amanda. WS fell behind Smooth 95.3 in the ratings at breakfast towards the end of 2020 and with the contracts of J&A up for renewal next year, you’d think ARN Sydney would want their ratings to increase during 2021.
I heard Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead Or Alive” on WS the other day. What a shocking edit!
To shorten the opening guitar riff, they used a jump cut to the first verse that sounds like a needle skipping across a record. There’s plenty of other bad edits throughout the track, making it sound like a choppy amateurish mess. And for a further insult, it was sped up considerably.
If you’re going to mess up a song that much, don’t play it at all.
The bulk cost of those products is a lot less than the claimed price. A quick Google search found these prices, but the bag seller could source them for less. The cap is worth about $2, duffle bag about $5, Bluetooth speaker about $5, yoyo $1, hand sanitizer around $5. I think the total wholesale price would be less than $28!
