A big weekend of sport got underway as Nine broadcast the NRL 1st Preliminary Final. The Storm was too good for the Sharks with Nine’s coverage drawing a huge 1.471 million. That was well up on the equivalent game of 2024 that had 1.171 million viewers and +400k higher than the final two Fridays ago.

Better Homes And Gardens did well for Seven with the whole program on the main channel across the network for the first time since February with its highest rating since then of 583k.
Following was the movie Jerry Maguire that managed 167k.

Gardening Australia on ABC was steady just below 500k while Season two of Professor T premiered to almost 400k, up 60k on last week’s season one final.

Love It Or List It Australia on 10 was steady with 225k after the lead in Deal Or No Deal managed just 87k at 7pm. The Brighter Side, later, again missed the top 30 cut.

Nine News was the number one bulletin for the night though Seven won the week. Sunrise finished its week in Melbourne maintaining a +400k result though Today closed the gap on recent results to 75k.
