Seven won last night’s ratings with its second highest Friday share of the year. The network was up form the previous week to ne 10 clear of Nine that dropped by two points. ABC, 10 and SBS were roughly equal to the previous week with SBS notable for its third consecutive double figures on a Friday.

Tipping Point was again Friday’s top rated entertainment show, making the top five a propelling the show to its highest weekly average ever up 30k on the previous week. The game show contest was again close with The Chase not far behind also posting a 2024 record weekly audience.

In prime time, AFL Friday averaged 658k on par with the previous week to rank sixth overall. Better Homes and Gardens also did well with 622k up slightly on the previous week to be 70k ahead of Gardening Australia.

Friday’s NRL was over the 500k mark but down 60k week-on-week despite main channel coverage in Melbourne. ABC’s Silent Witness improved 40k and was the night’s top scripted drama.

Best for 10 was News while Deal or No Deal improved to make the top 30 but Ready Steady Cook missed out.
