The result compares to last year’s equivalent game that averaged 1.183m and was 140k up on the previous Friday for the number one position of the night.
Better Homes And Gardens also aired across Seven’s channels managing 460k, down 30k from last week.
After good ratings across the week, Nine’s decision to promote Day 7 of the World Athletics Championships to the main channel from 7.30pm saw an average 383k tune in.
While not as high as Thursday’s 677k, the reach figure of over 2 million was once again an amazing figure for the coverage.
Over on SBS’s Viceland their coverage averaged 195k after Thursday’s 298k high.
On 10, Love It Or List It Australia was the network’s only prime time top 30 entry with 226k that was surprisingly up 35k from the previous Friday. The Brighter Side’s second season continued to miss the rankings.
ABC’s Gardening Australia at just under 500k was prime time’s top entertainment show. Following, Professor T had its first season final, up slightly to 338k.
Seven News was 20k ahead of Nine News at 6pm. Sunrise was again over 400k for its Melbourne visit though Today was up on recent results.
