the cynic in me would say no, Foxtel would have Fox News in HD, and CNN / MSNBC in SD
Be intrigued what quality it shows up in when it gets added to Flash

The stream on the Foxtel app indicates MSNBC is available in HD.
Why can’t Foxtel make all its channels HD? It’s 2023.
Last night I grabbed a glass of wine and sat down to stream the first two episodes of the latest series of Succession on Foxtel.
I was surprised, saddened and angry that I had to endure three ads before each episode. I pay over $100 a month and think that’s enough to ensure ad-free streaming.
What a story in the fin review.
So the WB contract isn’t that long after all, it sounds like it finishes in 2024/25 fin year.
WB still launching their own app services in the next 12mths.
Fox getting called on their “own truths”. Without WB, fox will only have sport.
Oh it’s about to get really juicy!
I sampled msnbc… it’s great for comedy relief.
The presentation, sets and graphics are excellent but the content and level of bias, including broadcasting false information and calling it factual i.e propaganda, makes it unwatchable.
You’re a fool.
I’m assuming you’re a Fox News kind of guy.
MSNBC is definitely more left leaning. But how good is it that there’s choice on the Foxtel platform. I enjoy listening to all viewpoints and making my own decisions on the news.
I watch Fox News for fun. Tucker Carlson must earn millions, but he wears the cheapest and most obvious wig in television history. His hair length, style and colour has not changed in 20 years. That alone is worth the price of admission.
Sounds more like you’re describing Fox News, Sky News Australia, GBN, Newsmax and Murdoch’s print media.
If Foxtel lose the Warner Bros / HBO contract it may be the end of the business, including Binge.
Ultimately, that would be a sad day for Australia as we would lose an enormous amount of Australian produced content.
I am no fan of Murdoch, but I appreciate that Foxtel plays a huge role in ensuring that new Aussie content is produced and it allows us to watch our own stories on television.
Actually MSNBC is pretty good at what it does. Out of all the cable news networks on Foxtel, I prefer to watch it. I like they have a lot of balanced opinions and analysis. Whilest you support Fake News from Fox News and Sky News After Dark is your right. However if you can’t articulate a specific example of what makes it comic relief and what is it exactly that makes them bias, then your comment is really comedic in itself.
LOL @ real propoganda? Geez… Fox News Fan much?
I needed a good laugh. Thanks for the morning laugh!

I’m finding MSNBC great and watching it for hours. It covers a breadth of news and has plenty of different voices and contributors. It doesn’t engage in “grievance”. I’m finding it better than CNN which has lost its way.
MSNBC is pretty balanced with a slight left lean here and there.
While I agree with you, the end of Foxtel also means the sporting rights in its possession will be up for grabs. Hopefully no more simulcasts of AFL and NRL matches on both FTA and pay TV.
Haven’t they already resigned?
There was some discussion this week that this was the last deal. Read akymbo82’s comment and link a few posts back.
MSNBC is popular for Democrats. Also love their US election coverage as well.
